Hattatzade Asım Yazıcıoğlu Mansion

Buldan houses are wooden carcass and adobe masonry structures. The houses are simple-looking, the windows are rectangular and the eaves are wide.

One of the common features of the houses is that they have a sloping roof and alaturka tiles. The eaves have been kept wide for such purposes as preventing the rains from seeping in through the window and the burning summer sun from coming to the sofa, to accommodate those who pass under it. Some of them are shaped by baghdadi practices or woodwork. The interior of the house is surrounded by garden walls. The trees in the garden prevent the neighbors from seeing the interior of the house and the garden. The houses are usually connected close to the street, or open directly to the street.

The street-facing window of the ground floor is large, and the entrance has sometimes been turned into a place that can be reached by a few steps of stairs.
